高频变压器与低频变压器都有哪些区别？

一般情况下，低频变压器是指“工频变压器”，它是工作在(50Hz)下，用来改变电压，低频变压器使用的铁芯一般是高导磁率的硅钢片。

高频变压器是指工作在高频率中的，起换能作用的变压器，因为磁场的频率很高，硅钢片中会产生涡流(硅钢片中的小磁体转换速度跟不上)，所以高频变压器一般使用“高频铁氧体”为磁芯。

高频变压器与低频变压器其区别在于针对频率上，其工作频率上的不同，从而导致选才上会有一些不同。低频变压器与高频变压器工作原理是一样的，不论工作频率高低，都是通过电磁感应来传输能量的。

由于高频和低频的频率不同，高频的只能用在频率高并且激励源频率与变压器频率相匹配的电路中，而低频的则相反，不能混用，即使高频的如果频率不匹配的话一般是不能用。

如果变压器传输一定的能量，工作频率高，在一定时间内传输能量的次数多，每一次传输的能量可以少，则变压器用的材料少，结构尺寸小，因此一般的高频变压器，线圈匝数比较少，尺寸可以做的非常小，低频变压器线圈匝数比较多。

再同功率下的两种变压器，高频变压器则会比低频变压器小很多，这种情况下，高频变压器会只有低频变压器的十分之一左右。这是因为需要对低频变压器进行保护，减少 u 值，用硅钢片制作，但效率变差，所以要做大体积散热。
